Some sites managed by the Government of Canada are accessible only by internal agencies or government departments. Access by NRC employees to these internal sites has been temporarily disconnected due to the cyber intrusion. ITSS and SSC continue to work to find an interim solution to this access issue. At this time, a timeline for access to Publiservice has yet to be determined.

NRC and the RCEA and PIPSC have concluded an agreement for the 2014 December Shutdown. Except for those employees who are required to work during the shutdown period because of operational requirements, employees will be permitted to work sufficient additional hours to replace the hours of work which would normally have been scheduled on the afternoon of 24 December and for full working days on 29, 30 and 31 December 2014 and 2 January 2015.
