May was a time for many changes in the RCEA office. There were two staff departures. Cathie Fraser, RCEA President, was appointed as General Secretary of the National Joint Council (NJC) and Deborah Cooper, Executive Director, left to pursue another career opportunity. I would like to thank Cathie and Deborah for their hard work and dedication to the RCEA and its membership. Their knowledge and experience will be missed and these two departures are examples of the high caliber talent that the RCEA attracts.
May was also a time for a new addition to our Labour Relations team. I would like to introduce Jude Morrison as our Senior Labour Relations Advisor and Negotiator. Jude comes to the RCEA with over 25 years of experience in different public sector organizations. In the last month, I have witnessed Jude’s extensive knowledge and expertise through her involvement in recent labour relations matters. Jude can be reached at the following email address: firstname.lastname@example.org.
