I am pleased to announce that Roger Scott-Douglas has accepted to take on the role of Acting President of the NRC for the next 90 days as I take on my new role as President of the Public Health Agency of Canada. During this period, Roger will also continue in the important role of Secretary to the COVID-19 Vaccine Task Force. Minister Bains will announce a formal appointment through 2022 in the coming days.
As he takes on this new challenge, I have no doubt you will all welcome and support Roger as you did me.
