The 2019 Public Service Employee Survey (PSES) launched on July 22 and will run for a period of six weeks, closing on September 6. The PSES is an important opportunity for NRC employees to share feedback about their engagement, leadership, and workplace well-being. This year, the NRC would like to increase employees’ participation in the PSES as the survey data helps to identify and respond to important organizational issues and track progress at the NRC over time in key areas.
Previous PSES results and employee feedback were key sources of information in developing NRC’s new Strategic HR Plan (coming soon!) that includes a number of key initiatives to improve the workplace. These initiatives include a new leadership development framework, an equity, diversity and inclusion strategy and an NRC wellness strategy. PSES 2019 results will be available in the early winter and will be analyzed to validate HR priorities, measure progress in key areas and identify areas of strength and any new areas of concern related to people management practices.
It is important that employees take the time to share their feedback once they receive their personalized email invitation. Employees who have not yet received their personalized survey invitation are asked to contact the survey administrator, Advanis, at 1-866-539-7829. For a paper copy of the survey, please contact Linda Gour.
