Information Session on Severance Pay
The recent TO Arbitral Award included the elimination of severance pay on retirement and resignation and provides employees with an opportunity to cash out earned severance pay. The RCEA will be holding two information sessions for its members on various options that are available. These sessions, presented by The Investors Group, will review the principal financial and tax implications of receiving the payment, and will answer your questions about this important topic. One session will be in English and one in French. Both sessions will be recorded and the video will be posted on our website for the benefit of our members located outside the NCR.
